CeProd Inducts 23 New Members, Charges Professionals on Smart Productivity for Income Growth
The Centre for Public Service Productivity and Development
(CeProd) today inducted 23 distinguished professionals into its growing network
of productivity experts at its April 2026 Membership Induction Ceremony.
The newly inducted members include 21 Fellows (FCP) and 2 Associate Members
(ACP), drawn from Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States,
representing sectors such as academia, energy, finance, public administration,
and consulting.
Prominent inductees include Prof. Oseni Taiwo;Deputy Vice Chancellor , Lagos
State University, Prof. Amah Edwinah, Prof Fasoyiro Subuola, Prof. Taiwo A.
Olaiya, Dr. Joseph Osazuwa, Dr. Noyo Anthonia Kubeyinje-Edem (UK), Aghomi Ngozi
Ijeoma (USA), and senior executives from NNPC, Diageo North America, and Citi
Bank USA.
Delivering the keynote induction lecture titled “How to Increase Your Income
Through Smart Productivity Strategies,” the Director General of CeProd, Dr.
Chris Egbu, emphasized that productivity—not effort—is the true driver of
income growth.
Key Highlights from DG’s Speech:
• Income is directly linked to productivity and measurable value—not activity
or time spent.
• Many professionals remain busy but fail to increase income due to poor
productivity alignment.
• Smart productivity focuses on doing the right work, at the right time, with
the right systems.
• Professionals must identify high-impact activities that generate 80% of their
income.
• Eliminating low-value tasks and building systems is essential for scaling
income and performance.
• Increasing personal value through skills and specialization leads to higher
earnings.
• Daily prioritization and disciplined execution are critical to sustained
productivity growth.
Dr. Egbu challenged members to rethink productivity from an income perspective,
stressing that “productivity is the bridge between effort and results,” and
that real growth comes from applying productivity principles consistently.
He further noted that CeProd members gain access to a robust digital
productivity library with over 200 resources, global networking opportunities,
and structured systems designed to accelerate professional and organizational
performance.
Speaking at the event, members of the Governing Council, including Dr
Kelechukwu Abel and Engr Dr Solace Akade, reiterated the Centre’s commitment to
building a productive nation through capacity development, research, and
professional certification.
The induction ceremony, featured
cultural entertainment, council members introductions, and the administration
of the CeProd Membership Pledge.
